Each print was hand pulled on an etching press or screen printed. ⇣ Layered artworks Comprised of multiple layers of Asian style papers that have been printed then pasted together. Topmost layers have been waxed to achieve translucency and depth of field. Some top layers are gouged or have areas removed to more fully reveal underlying layers. ⇣ Unique 2-dimensional artworks These are all one-of-a-kind. All works have been executed using paper and ink. Many have a collage element to them. ⇣ Unique 3-dimensional artworks One-of-a-kind 3-dimensional sculptures. Comprised of hand printed Asian style papers that cover the surfaces of sculpted wooden forms. ⇣ Sculpted Photographs Digital photographs that have been inkjet printed on Asian mulberry papers. The prints are saturated with paste then molded over a rigid substrate that has had specific areas relative to the printed image built up with acrylic mediums. When dry, the surface of the image is coated with encaustic medium and further enhanced with colored pigments. These artworks have such texture and relief that you will be inclined to reach out and touch the image – and that’s OK! ⇣
